divh2Commercial Truck Driver/h2pThe driver will safely and efficiently drive a commercial truck for extended hours to pick up and deliver freight. Drives truck, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver goods locally to the airline and/or customer as determined by service level of shipment./ppThis is a weekend only position for Saturdays and Sundays part time for approximately 8 hours per day./ph3Essential Job Functions/h3ulliTo load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airport./liliMaintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions./liliNeatly complete bill of ladings and MAWBs (Master Airway Bill) for airlines in order to tender freight./liliMaintain driver logbook and daily vehicle inspection report according to I.C.C regulations./liliInteract daily with customers./liliSit, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs. Must be able to load cargo weighing in excess of 1000 lbs with the assistance of a pallet jack/li/ulh3Qualification and Education Requirements/h3ulliHigh School diploma/liliCommercial driving experience preferred/liliMust hold valid Drivers License./liliMust be able to operate a van with a capacity of 3,000 lbs/liliAbility to operate handheld computer / cellular telephone. Time management, processing paperwork/liliMust have basic knowledge of computers and email.
