The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for provisioning, configuring, and maintaining highly available systems while driving automation, operational efficiency, and secure infrastructure management. This role leverages Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and automation tools to streamline system administration, improve reliability, and strengthen cybersecurity posture. The Senior Systems Administrator provides technical mentorship, promotes standardization, and leads system optimization initiatives across the enterprise.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provision, configure, and maintain highly available systems across enterprise environments.Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.Implement and optimize system reliability, performance, and security controls.Strengthen cybersecurity posture through secure infrastructure management practices.Provide technical mentorship and guidance to systems administration teams.Promote standardization of system configurations and operational procedures.Lead system optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.Monitor system health and resolve issues to ensure continuous availability.Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $110,00.00 to $120,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
