Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | No on-call required | Every 3rd weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
• Administer respiratory therapies including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
• Respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Iowa or compact eligibility
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts including every 3rd weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Experience with mechanical ventilation management
• ACLS certification
