Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment near Cibolo, TX. This position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, offering 30-32 hours per week in a highly collaborative educational setting.

You’ll provide instruction and dedicated support to a manageable caseload of 10-12 students with diverse needs. Experience in both Reading Language Arts (RLA) and Math is essential, as you’ll be helping learners build foundational skills and confidence across these core academic areas. Your commitment to differentiated instruction and individualized education plans will make a significant difference for your students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience teaching students at the K-12 level
• Strong background in both Math and RLA instruction
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Positive, student-centered attitude and the ability to adapt to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated Math and ELA instruction to students on your caseload
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with colleagues and parents
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Work effectively within a team to provide holistic, inclusive support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
