Business Development Manager - Financial Wellness Solutions

As a Business Development Manager within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions, you will be primarily based in Columbia, MD covering Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland. Job Profile PNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of various businesses and their employees. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with clients to develop and drive a financial wellness program aligned with organizational goals and objectives. In this role, you will provide innovative solutions including health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access and other financial wellness offerings. You will employ a consultative based sales approach to acquire new business relationships and work directly with knowledgeable client services teams and partners to support the growth of a book of business. Experience selling to one or more of the following areas is preferred: professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, general services. Job Description Focus on acquiring new clients across financial wellness solutions, emphasizing sales growth, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals. Acquire and/or expand client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet under direction, handling origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of non‑credit products and services. Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. Provide ideas and insights based on client needs and financial well‑being, increasing client engagement and loyalty. Build an effective network of internal and external relationships, including community and industry contacts, to acquire new clients or expand existing ones and enhance client experience. Bring the full range of PNC’s products and services and leverage reporting and sales tools to convert opportunities. Analyze, evaluate, and inform on financial wellness solutions product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning. Certifications None required. Licenses None required. Pay Transparency Base Salary: $76,500.00 – $127,500.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
