Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay: $26-$30/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform a variety of basic repairs and troubleshooting tasks, supporting both residential and commercial properties. You'll work closely with our maintenance team to ensure smooth operations and satisfied tenants or clients.


What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for
• Performing basic electrical work, such as changing lights and fixtures
• Handling minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Patching drywall and completing small-scale painting projects
• Conducting general handyman repairs and troubleshooting
• Recognizing when specialized licensed professional services are needed
• Using tablets or smartphones to manage work orders and document your work


What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
• Dependability and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, drywall, or general maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently across a range of property types
• Basic tech skills and comfort using a tablet or smartphone for work documentation
• No licensing required, but familiarity with residential maintenance is beneficial
• A proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Portland, Maine, with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a rotating on-call duty approximately every six weeks. Properties may range from Brunswick to Saco/Biddeford, offering a diverse working environment.
