Cybersecurity Analyst

Position Overview: The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding our organization’s information systems from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring security systems, analyzing security incidents, implementing security measures, and staying current with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles, and experience with various security technologies. Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security Investigate security incidents and respond to breaches in a timely and effective Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and best Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the security of our Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a similar Strong understanding of network and system security Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners). Excellent problem-solving and analytical Ability to work independently and as part of a Strong communication skills, both written and Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
