Producer Intern

JOB SUMMARY

The Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth are seeking a proactive Producer Intern to assist our Senior Producer. You will play a key role in supporting content creation by coordinating shoot schedules, managing logistics, handling vendor contracts, and acting as on‑set support. This role will be part‑time and run from August 2026 – May 2027, working in both our Sandy, UT and Salt Lake City, UT locations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Senior Producer with daily logistics for photo and video productions, including player features and brand campaigns. Coordinate crew and talent communications, including call times, locations, and shoot‑day details. Assist in sourcing and booking vendors, locations, and equipment. Maintain production documents, including schedules, shot lists, and call sheets. Act as an on‑set production assistant, ensuring seamless production flow. Manage production paperwork, such as contracts, releases, and invoices. Provide administrative support to keep the production team organized. Cross‑train with Project Management and Marketing teams to learn and adapt production management processes. Facilitate project sharing across Broadcast, Streaming, Social, Marketing, and PR departments. Collaborate with motion and graphic design teams to enhance final deliverables. Stay current with industry trends and video production techniques. Exemplify our core values: transparent, all in, community‑obsessed, one team, and scrappy. QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field. 0–2 years of production experience; familiarity with set roles is required. (Portfolio samples like call sheets or budget trackers are highly valued). Genuine enthusiasm for content production and sports media. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset. Ability to remain calm and focused in high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Flexibility to work on‑site, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
