Medical Oncologist

About this role: As a Medical Oncologist you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Presently we have an opportunity at our Platte Valley Hospital and at our Good Samaritan Hospital. You’ll work alongside a group of collaborative Oncologists, Advanced Practice Providers, and strong support staff. Our Cancer Center at Platte Valley Medical Center and at Good Sam are a part of a larger group of centers across our 4 hospitals in the Denver and surrounding areas. Compensation $576,015 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive. $25,000 sign‑on bonus and up to $20,000 in relocation assistance if applicable. Clinic hours are 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday. Most providers tend to work a four‑ten schedule. Depending on location call could be either 1:6 or 1:7 but over a fairly light load. There's also a robust clinical trials infrastructure enabling participation in cutting‑edge trials as part of an integrated cancer research program. Find out more about our comprehensive benefits package. What you’ll bring: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Hematology / Oncology. Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one. BLS certification and DEA. Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. 2 years of experience is required.
