About This Role The PRN RN position in the Transitional Care and Discharge Unit at Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital involves delivering exceptional nursing care to patients transitioning from acute care to home or other settings. This role is ideal for experienced nurses seeking flexible work options while providing critical support to patients and their families. Highlights Pay: $41.00/hour Location: Canton, OH Facility: Mercy Hospital Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) Experience 2 years recent related nursing experience for external applicants Internal applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered after probationary period Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross #J-18808-Ljbffr
