Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS TNCC Must-Have: Travel experience required Charting system experience (Epic) required Description: We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse. The role involves working in a Level I Trauma environment. Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced emergency department. A minimum of two years of experience is preferred. Travel experience is preferred. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Experience with a patient ratio of 4:1 is ideal. Skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients are necessary. Familiarity with phlebotomy and procedural sedation is also required. The emergency room accommodates a variety of patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Applicants should be comfortable handling a wide range of emergency medical situations. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Documentation will be performed using Epic. We value candidates who can maintain composure under pressure.
