We value relationships and invest in our employees.Why Wachter?Full-time workCompetitive Compensation based on experiencePaid weeklyPer-Diem paid when overnight travel is requiredCompany vehicle provided, in some cases, after initial 2-4 weeks of employmentDrive time and mileage paid for use of personal vehicle when travel is requiredOpportunities for certification and career advancementSupportive team environmentBenefits Package: Company Paid!Medical, Dental, Prescription & Vision BenefitsLife, AD&D, and LTD insurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysCompany-Matched 401(k) and IRA Retirement SavingsQualifications:Experience installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm Systems in commercial environmentsExperience with Fire Alarm Systems is a plusAbility to read blueprints and site mapsExperience with voice and data cabling is a plusStrong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)Proficiency with smartphones, computers, email, spreadsheets, and internal systemsPossession of basic low-voltage/telecom tools, PPE, and reliable transportation during trainingKey Responsibilities May Include:Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Alarm SystemsRunning low voltage and composite cables in commercial buildings, including conduit work and concrete drillingCutting in door strikes and maglocks as neededCompleting all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer satisfaction and contractual requirementsCollaborating with Installation Team Leads or Project Managers to manage schedules and equipment deliveryConducting system tests and troubleshooting to ensure full functionality and compliance with local, state, and federal codesProviding technical escalation support both on-site and remotelyTravel and TrainingValid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years)Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75–100%) and work flexible shifts, including overnight travelMust have reliable personal transportation for use during the initial training period; must be willing to attend a mandatory one-week, in-person technician orientation in Lowell, Arkansas upon hire; orientation is scheduled shortly after hire based on the next available session, and a company vehicle will be provided upon completion of orientation$30 - $50 an hour Based on experience/qualifications.Wachter is a family-owned company since 1930 and we see each employee as a critical piece of the Wachter Family.
