You will work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are developed and executed effectively. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities to establish treatment needs and goals. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s unique requirements and progress. Educate patients and their families on injury management techniques and preventive measures to enhance recovery and minimize the risk of re-injury. Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to improve patient mobility and functional abilities. Monitor and document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and adjust plans in adherence to regulatory guidelines. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will treat encompass a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Qualifications Current and active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred. A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for developing effective treatment strategies. A deep-seated passion for enhancing patient outcomes and improving quality of life through rehabilitative care. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with various therapeutic modalities and techniques. Experience treating diverse patient populations, understanding cultural differences in healthcare. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
