Endoscopy Technician

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with an optional Friday shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. This role involves performing various endoscopic procedures and providing technical support during advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. The technician will also be responsible for operating specialized equipment, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring proper reprocessing of scopes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Technically support and circulate during procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Bravo, EMR, Bronchoscopy/EBUS.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Perform scope reprocessing and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Participate in rotating call schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an endoscopy setting.
• Proficient in basic EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS procedures.
• Knowledgeable in using specialized equipment such as Pathfinder, Cryo, ERBE, and RFAScope.
• Ability to assist in advanced procedures, particularly the technical aspects of ERCP.
• Must possess appropriate certifications and licensure as required.
