Survey Crew Chief

Department Survey Location Garden City, Long Island Compensation 75,000 – 130,000 per year Key Responsibilities Work independently or with a survey crew, utilizing GPS and a robotic Total Station to perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction staking. Plan and evaluate proposed survey projects with Survey Project Managers and licensed Surveyors. Manage a survey field crew, train new personnel, and oversee safety for the crew and yourself. Maintain and care for survey equipment. Communicate effectively with Stonefield staff, clients, contractors and the general public. Qualifications 3 years experience as a Survey Crew Chief. Experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction staking. Experience with Trimble survey equipment preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and Carlson Survey preferred. Past survey coursework or seminar attendance preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Self-motivation. Willingness to travel.
