About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Global Public Policy in Vaccines and Infectious Disease. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of developing and executing global public policy strategies and advocacy initiatives to support the company's vaccine and infectious disease franchises. This leadership role involves shaping and driving the global policy strategy, advancing advocacy priorities, and representing the company in external forums. The Executive Director will also provide strategic leadership across global public policy and strategic access, coordinating enterprise-wide policy initiatives, and guiding cross-functional efforts at various levels. A key responsibility is to ensure that policy strategies align with business objectives, enhance stakeholder engagement, and foster long-term franchise growth. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years' experience in public policy, with a focus on vaccine and infectious disease policy, health policy, and related trade issues. The role requires a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, managing resources, and driving organizational change in a complex global environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare public policy processes, the ability to set strategic direction, and experience in providing thought leadership on complex policy and public health issues. Excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, and a demonstrated commitment to health equity are essential.
