Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion)Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician supporting our wafer fabrication facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. If you are qualified and interested, we invite you to apply.QualificationsEducation Requirements:AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.Experience Requirements / Skills:5+ years supporting Diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000, SVG VTR 6000/7000A minimum of 5 years' experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; define and implement solutions.Strong mechanical skills:Demonstrable knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systemsStrong electronic skills:Understanding and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.Demonstrated knowledge in how to approach installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.Demonstrated knowledge in diagnosing, testing, and repairing equipment by utilizing electrical repair procedures.Excellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving abilityMust have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 40lbs.This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.Additional InformationThis position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week.
