About the Role:

• Part-Time, 30-32 hours per week
• $22/hour
• Either (4) eight hour days or (5) 6 hour days.
• On site in East Liberty

Principal (Essential) Duties

• Process outgoing payments in compliance with EECM policies and procedures (check run, ACH, etc.).
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Receive payments for A/R, Daycamp, etc.
• Maintain accurate entries and records specific to expense accounts and cost centers
• Maintain compliance with other accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
• Assist with audit preparation
• Month End Reconciliation of credit cards
• Maintain registration on all EECM vehicle.
• Process incoming checks via remote deposit machine
• Process recurring donations via credit card
• Maintain & Distr. as needed donated gift cards
• Maintain all credit cards & keep copies on file, change credit limits etc. as needed
• Month-end adj/accrual entries
• Prepare Month End GL reconciliations
• Prepare 1099's at calendar year end
• Maintain the 403B account
• Maintain records, copies of contracts, vendor files, lease agreements, etc.

Secondary Duties

• Serve as a backup for payroll processing
• Cultivate technical knowledge through professional reading, attending workshops, etc.
• Attend all department and staff meetings
• Perform other duties as required and assigned

Position Requirements


The successful candidate for this position will possess the following combination of education and experience:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Paychex, MIP Fund Accounting Software and government billing using Master Provider Enterprise Repository (MPER), Community Care Behavioral Health (CCBH) preferred.
• Act 33 and 34 clearances required.
• Cultural awareness training, experience working with people of diverse backgrounds, skills and needs.
