Cashier Position at Urth CafféAt Urth Caffé, our Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering the warm, welcoming experience we are known for. This position requires a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and accuracy.Key Responsibilities:Greet every guest with a friendly and positive attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphereAccurately process orders, payments, and transactions using the POS systemMaintain a strong knowledge of Urth Caffé's menu, including coffee, tea, and food offeringsAnswer guest questions and provide recommendations when neededEnsure orders are entered correctly and communicated clearly to the kitchen and barista teamHandle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly and accuratelyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and front-of-house areaAssist with packaging orders for dine-in and takeoutSupport team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operationsQualifications:Previous cashier or customer service experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skills and attention to detailFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysPositive attitude and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 lbsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentWhy Work at Urth Caffé: Urth Caffé is a long-standing Southern California institution, known for its heirloom organic coffee and health-conscious cuisine.
