Physical Therapist, Community Hospitals (Full Time)

Responsibilities Perform age and diagnosis specific assessments designed to gather data relevant to the patient’s/resident’s/client’s individual needs. Utilize exercise, soft tissue mobilization, joint manipulation, manual therapy techniques, equipment, and physical and electrical modalities to improve strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion, and to decrease pain to restore mobility and function. Provide education related to the treatment program, disease process, and prevention of further injuries to the patient/resident/client and family/caregiver and other members of the health‑care team. Delegate aspects of care to the PTA or Rehabilitation aide based on their job descriptions. Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and manage constantly changing situations and conflict. Perform all job duties or tasks as assigned. Follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Comply with all Benefis Health System’s organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Physical Therapy licensure in Montana (temporary licensure as governed by the State Practice Act). Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or an accredited college or university with a DPT, master’s degree, or BA degree in Physical Therapy, or certification in Physical Therapy. Current BLS certification. Compensation Exemption wage exempt. Starting wage $76,315.20/annual. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
