Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The SSPS Product Area team within ASDS Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Principal Financial Analyst for the Qatar Early Warning Radar (QEWR) Program. The position will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to contribute to a dynamic and critical international program. The selected candidate will have exposure to various functional senior leaders and will work closely with the QEWR Program Manager, Integrated Product Team Leads, Engineering Business Analysts, Planning & Scheduling, and functional support leads on making sound financial, contractual, and resource decisions for the program. In this fast-paced business environment, the selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.What You Will DoSupport the execution of monthly earned value management cost and schedule control processes, analysis, and reporting to program leaders and stakeholdersBe a trusted business partner with all internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial executionBrief senior program and functional leaders on program execution status displaying exceptional financial and business acumenAnalyze key financial data that will enable sound program decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete (EACs), program investments, and manpower planningManage and maintain program baselines and ensure accuracy and timeliness of program cost charging aligned to business directives and policiesDrive efficiencies, agility, and speed into financial processes utilizing the most up to date digital technology tools, training, and resources.Understand and execute within the guidelines of company and business policies and procedures and ethical standardsMonitor and update the forecast while driving Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) reporting on a monthly basisQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.Experience with Microsoft OfficeU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractQualifications We PreferExperience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Estimate At Complete (EAC) processExperience using SAP financial (or similar) accounting system and related reportsPro-active and self-motivatedDemonstrated ability to meet deadlinesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
