Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Up to $5k Sign on Bonus

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic who, under limited supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles. Responsibilities Performs preventive maintenance services Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles and equipment Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment Performs service calls Conducts safety checks on vehicles Assists Lead Mechanics as needed Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management Experience, Education, Certification Equivalent of 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair with a high school diploma or G.E.D., OR 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair Valid driver license Physical Requirements Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills Reach with hands and arms Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs What You'll Enjoy Industry leading benefits Multiple and flexible medical plans Outstanding PTO program Floating Holidays Strong 401k program and company match Tuition reimbursement plan College loan reimbursement College scholarship program for dependents Parental Leave Program Inclusive culture Employee engagement events Employee resource groups Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled. #J-18808-Ljbffr
