Creative Designer

EXPLEO USA is looking for a Creative Designer to join a dynamic and expanding team in Troy, Michigan. Responsibilities Establish and maintain effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with internal and external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Engineers, clay sculptors, and fabrication specialists, to develop innovative design solutions. Create both production and advanced design proposals while demonstrating exceptional design intuition and creativity. Develop and communicate 2-D and 3-D design concepts using a variety of presentation techniques. Support design reviews and presentations, effectively communicating creative ideas and design intent to stakeholders. Stay current on global automotive design concepts, consumer preferences, and emerging design trends to inspire innovative product solutions. Contribute to project development by driving decisions through collaboration, consensus-building, and influence. Deliver high-quality design solutions that align with client objectives, brand identity, and customer expectations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Product Design, Automotive Design, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of automotive exterior and/or interior product design experience preferred. Working knowledge of Alias, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design software. Ability to create both production and advanced design proposals while demonstrating exceptional design intuition. Strong ability to artistically represent 2-D and 3-D concepts using a wide variety of presentation techniques. Experience with manual and digital sketching. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team environment. Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills. Strong awareness of global automotive design trends and emerging concepts. Portfolio submission is required and must accompany applications to be considered.
