Retail Customer Service Delivery Driver

Job Description This position works closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe and timely manner using company vans or pickup trucks. Location & Pay Work location: Store #3181, 1012 Broadway, Mattoon, IL 61938. Part‑time position; starting pay rate $17.50. Responsibilities Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assist customers in person and over the phone to determine needs and present appropriate products and services. Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures. Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain precise work order files and formulas. Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications. Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles. Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules. Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, safety procedures, etc., when driving a vehicle. Prepare reports and other documents related to deliveries. Operate equipment and machines such as cars, trucks, and forklifts. Minimum Requirements At least 21 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship. Valid, unrestricted driver’s license. Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position. Prior work experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
