We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:**CC017030 Pathology Office**Job Description Summary:**## Sign On Bonus: $15K## Position Responsibilities* Proficient in performing all routine histology including cassetting, embedding, microtomy and H&E staining.* Performs and documents Quality Control. Reports significant deviations to the supervisor/manager. Documents corrective action.* Organizes work to maximize productivity and efficiency, meeting departmental workload average (24 blocks per hour cutting and 60 blocks per hour embedding).* Performs special stains, immunohistochemically stains or immunofluorescence stains, and prepares solutions , including dilutions of antibodies per departmental SOP.* Performs frozen sections with acceptable quality. Meets departmental turnaround time of 20 minutes 95% of the time.* Performs and documents routine maintenance; takes corrective action when equipment failure occurs.
