Senior Compensation Consultant

BELEN Network is recruiting for an experienced Senior Compensation Consultant to support complex workforce and compensation strategy engagements.
This role is ideal for a seasoned compensation professional who can lead large client projects, advise senior leaders, develop compensation strategies, and contribute to business development efforts.
The position follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office and client-facing collaboration required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee large-scale compensation consulting projects
- Review and interpret analyses prepared by project teams
- Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, structures, and programs
- Advise senior leaders on pay strategy, market competitiveness, job architecture, and related workforce decisions
- Support the design and implementation of modern compensation programs and tools
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and maintain strong executive-level partnerships
- Guide and coach junior team members while ensuring high-quality project delivery
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support new business development
- Contribute to innovative, technology-enabled approaches to compensation strategy and delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in compensation consulting, compensation strategy, or a related HR advisory field
- Strong subject-matter expertise in compensation design and market analysis
- Experience leading multiple complex projects or client engagements
- Strong knowledge of:
- Compensation strategy
- Pay structures and market competitiveness
- Incentive plan design
- Job architecture
- Compensation technology
- Regulatory and compliance considerations
- Experience advising senior executives or HR leadership
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and client-management skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global organizations with complex compensation needs
- Experience leading or contributing to business-development efforts
- Familiarity with compensation management platforms, market survey tools, or AI-enabled compensation solutions
- Experience developing innovative compensation approaches, methodologies, or thought leadership
- Strong coaching and team-development experience
