• Night shift -- 5 pm - 8 am, up to 5 shifts per month
• 1 - 2 nights in a row; weekends and holidays possible
• Average census: ~35 patients
• ~3000 births annually at this labor and delivery facility
• 1 - 2 NNPs overnight and onsite for support
• Procedures: line placement, intubation, chest tube, LP, exchange transfusion
• Delivery attendance required for under 32 weeks or congenital anomaly
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
