As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Olympia, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and exterior access points to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned areas; document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
