Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | Day, Mid & Night Coverage
Compensation: $225–$275/hour
Setting: Indian Health Service (IHS) | Federal Healthcare Facility

MD Staffing Services is seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide clinical coverage at the Whiteriver Indian Health Service Hospital Emergency Department in Whiteriver, Arizona.

This opportunity offers flexible, as-needed coverage with shifts typically scheduled 3–4 months in advance , based on facility needs and physician availability.

• $225–$275/hour
• Flexible coverage
• 12-hour shifts
• Day, mid, and night rotations
• Shifts typically scheduled 3–4 months in advance
• Federal / Indian Health Service healthcare setting
• Potential for ongoing coverage through September 2029
• Dedicated recruiting and credentialing support

• Provide direct emergency medicine care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Work scheduled day, night, weekend, holiday, and other assigned coverage as needed
• Coordinate with hospital clinical staff to ensure continuity of patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow IHS and facility clinical, safety, security, and credentialing requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Active, unrestricted physician license to practice medicine in Arizona, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications, or equivalent as required by the facility
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to successfully complete required federal background and security screening
• Meet all IHS and facility credentialing requirements
