Job Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking an Interventional Cardiac Nurse specialized in cardiac procedures for a position in SEATTLE, Washington. This role involves providing care to interventional cardiac patients within a dedicated procedure unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 30 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license, 2 years of experience in interventional cardiac nursing, travel experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and certification in the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, managing cardiac telemetry, IV management, sheath pull, and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Float: Float rotation may be required, as the unit requires flexibility to float to similar units as needed
• Additional Information: Focus on heavy interventional cardiac procedures including post-angiogram care, sheath removal, management of cardiac drips, telemedicine monitoring, and procedures such as cardioversion, TEE, and Pacer management. The position involves managing complex cardiac patients, with responsibilities including stabilization and monitoring during invasive procedures.
• Certifications: Must possess current ACLS and BLS certifications, and NIHSS preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac or procedural setting is required.
• EMR: Experience with Epic preferred.
• References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required, during the compliance process and prior to start.
