Job Description
Title: Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing

Schedule: 5x8 Nights

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an acute hospital OR setting.
- Certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assemble and sterilize instruments and medical sets.
- Prepare and clean surgical equipment, including crash carts and IV/PCA pumps.
- Perform steam sterilization and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS).
- Monitor and test sterilization processes using biological and chemical indicators.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization workflows and documentation.
- Participate in high-level disinfection protocols.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation is 40 hours.
- Pre-approved time off policy: one time allowed.
- Completion of required pre-start modules (approximately 16 hours, non-billable) prior to start; annual re-completion required.
