Overview NEW IN - Senior Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney | San Antonio, Texas Hybrid A confidential Texas-based litigation firm is seeking an experienced insurance defense attorney to handle a busy litigation docket and take an active role in case strategy and client-facing work. This role is designed for a litigator who wants meaningful responsibility, regular advocacy opportunities, and a clear pathway for long-term advancement. The opportunity stands out Defense-side litigation practice focused on insurance defense matters Substantive hands-on experience, including opportunities to take depositions and attend hearings Attorneys are trusted with meaningful responsibilities beyond research and document review Supportive team environment with mentoring and development from experienced litigators Clear partnership track The role Manage insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions as appropriate Take and defend depositions, including party, fact witness, and expert depositions Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to requests and preparing motions to compel when needed Appear at hearings and support trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization Evaluate liability and damages exposure, develop case strategy, and prepare status reports Work directly with clients and carriers on litigation strategy, budgets, and settlement posture Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations Location Hybrid, in office 4 days per week Compensation Base salary range: $160,000 to $190,000 Requirements 5 or more years of insurance defense litigation experience (8 to 10 or more years preferred) Experience handling one or more of the following: auto liability, trucking litigation, product liability, or construction defect defense Active Texas bar admission and in good standing Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Ability to manage a docket with ownership of deadlines, priorities, and case strategy Strong legal writing skills and comfort with motion practice Willingness to meet a 2,000 billable hours expectation Preferred background Experience running files with a high degree of autonomy, including direct client communication and day-to-day case management For a confidential and non-obligation call to learn more about this opportunity, please apply below or forward your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io and we’ll be happy to discuss this position in more detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr We Are Legal Revolution
