Exciting Opportunity in Emergency Nursing Job Description: - Become a vital part of our dynamic Emergency Department team! - Join a fast-paced environment with 101 beds and a diverse patient population. - Work with a typical patient ratio of 4:1, optimizing care even in high-demand situations. - Collaborate with skilled techs, clerks, and triage teams in a supportive atmosphere. - Utilize advanced equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors, to deliver top-notch care. - Document efficiently using the Cerner system for seamless patient records. - Commitment to every other weekend is required to keep the department running smoothly. - Must be adaptable, floating between all sections within the Emergency Department. - Deliver the best patient experience using the AIDET framework — ensuring each patient feels respected and informed. - Required certifications: - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI - NIHSS - ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Hiring Profile: - Requested Skill Set: Minimum of 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, or a high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits annually).
