Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab Assist patients in implementing occupational therapy programs and activities. Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments. Execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances patients' physical abilities and independence. Deliver patient‑centered care in a compassionate and caring atmosphere. Collaborate with peers and make referrals to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Ensure patients and their families receive the highest quality service. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
