Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques.
• Assist providers with patient care, examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and utilize various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
• Participate as an active member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of care.
• Support patient and caregiver education in alignment with care plans and provider instructions.
• Respond calmly and effectively during emergency situations and apply sound clinical judgment in fast-paced environments.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of practical nursing principles, medical terminology, and common examination and treatment procedures.
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow written and verbal instructions, and prioritize effectively in a high-traffic clinical setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a clinic or cardiology setting.
• Experience identifying and analyzing clinical problems and recommending effective solutions.
• Familiarity with office procedures and electronic health record systems.
