Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Ophthalmology Medical Office specializing in Cataract and LASIK, located in La Jolla, is looking for an excellent Medical Front Desk Receptionist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibility
Accuracy
Professionalism
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Motivation to learn all components of the role
Bilingual English/Spanish

DUTIES:

Greets patients
Verifies insurance co-payments
Answers phone lines
Files medical charts
Schedules patient appointments
Makes appointment reminder calls
Prepares patient charts and materials for the following day and week
Keeps inventory of supplies
Follows up with patients
And much more
