Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an elementary-level FOCUS Teacher, supporting a behavior inclusion program designed for students with disabilities. In this critical role, you'll leverage your expertise as a Special Education Teacher or Behavior Specialist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. With a classroom of approximately 12-15 students spanning various grade levels, you’ll create an environment where every child is empowered to succeed. This opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current credentials and experience as a Special Education Teacher or Behavior Specialist
• Strong background in behavior management, redirection, and positive reinforcement strategies
• Demonstrated understanding of individual education plans (IEPs) and case management
• Compassion, patience, and a collaborative spirit when working with diverse student needs
• Ability to adapt instructional approaches to support inclusion in a classroom setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a behavior inclusion program
• Manage student caseloads, including writing and implementing IEPs
• Deliver behavior redirection and reinforcement to maintain a positive, structured environment
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and carry out individualized behavior plans
• Collect and track data to monitor student progress and refine intervention strategies
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom where each student feels valued and motivated
