Real Estate Development Analyst

A leading global real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Real Estate Development Analyst to join its Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced real estate professionals across acquisitions, land development, project planning, and execution while gaining exposure to the full real estate development lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating new development opportunities, conducting market and financial analysis, supporting due diligence processes, and assisting with the execution of large-scale residential development projects, including single-family communities, townhome developments, multifamily properties, and other residential real estate assets. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate potential development opportunities through financial modeling, feasibility analysis, market research, and investment underwriting Analyze market trends, demographics, land characteristics, development assumptions, and project viability across a range of residential asset types Support land acquisition efforts, due diligence processes, entitlement activities, and project planning initiatives Assist with the execution and management of large-scale residential development projects by tracking budgets, schedules, and key milestones Prepare financial analyses, investment summaries, presentations, and reporting materials for internal stakeholders Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including consultants, contractors, municipalities, and other project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle Qualifications: 2–3 years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, investments, commercial real estate, or a related field Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience evaluating real estate development projects and building development pro formas Proficiency in Excel; experience with Argus, CoStar, or other real estate analysis platforms is a plus Strong understanding of real estate development, valuation, market analysis, project feasibility, and investment returns Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field This role offers significant responsibility, exposure to large-scale residential development projects, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative investment and development team.
