Staff Accountant

Work closely with the Controller on accounting and regulatory reporting requirements, including reconciliation of accounts, review of various general ledger and internal system reports, review of payables and expenses and creating and distributing management and departmental reports. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital fluctuations. Conduct relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures, and systems. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 2-4 years of experience, preferably in banking or financial services industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience Basic understanding of general accounting, cash management and accounts payable functions Excellent communication and organizational skills in a high volume transactional environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Additional PC and software skills including Word Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines Position Type Full Time - Regular Department Accounting-001707 Location Central Bank Main Work Hours Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm Standard Hours 40 Area of Interest Accounting Work Location Options On-Site We strive to make this site accessible to all users.
