Early Morning Baker

Pay: $16.00 per hour Job description Paris Baguette in Bethesda is seeking enthusiastic and responsible bakers to join our growing family! Available shift starts from 2:00 AM - 10:30 AM. Knowledge And Responsibilities Baker Assistant - Starting at $16 per hour 0 to 6 months of bakery or kitchen production experience (training will be provided) Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days of hire) Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6+ hours Reliable attendance, basic English literacy Willing to learn - no prior baking required Proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough per Paris Baguette specs Operate ovens, proofer, and dough sheeter under supervision Maintain production schedule and timing logs Clean and sanitize equipment, follow allergen protocols WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (include FDA) Confectionery/Foods major recommended Food Handler's Certificate Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task Stellar customer service, both internally and externally Feedback is a gift!
