Now Hiring: Field Service TechnicianExpress Employment Professionals – Washington County is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician for a growing power systems company specializing in critical backup power solutions. This is a high-impact role supporting essential industries where reliable power is critical—including hospitals, data centers, banks, and manufacturing facilities.Job time 7:30am-4pm 2 15 minute paid breaks, 1 unpaid 30 minute lunchWhat You'll Do:Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installationsWork on UPS systems, stationary battery systems, and telecom power equipmentDiagnose and repair battery chargers and power systemsComplete field wiring for batteries, chargers, and UPS equipmentUse electrical test equipment (multimeters, etc.) to measure voltage, current, resistance, and moreComplete detailed service reports and job documentationProvide professional, customer-facing service in the fieldWhat We're Looking For:Associate's degree in Electrical Technology OR 3+ years technician experienceBasic understanding of electrical theory and circuitsStrong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitudeComfortable working in field environments and traveling to job sitesValid driver's license requiredAbility to use electrical testing equipmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 55 lbsHands-on field work in various environmentsWhy This Opportunity:$24–$30/hr competitive payFull-time, stable schedule (40 hours/week)401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and paid time offOngoing vendor + in-house technical trainingLong-term career growth with a 50+ year established company
