Responsibilities:

Provide support for moving/upgrading EOL operating systems which includes approximately 75,000 in-scope devices
Perform triage and root cause analysis of incidents as well as execution scheduled changes to servers

Requirements:

7+ years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7/8/9)
Experience supporting Client, Dell x86 hardware platform
Strong experience in Linux/UNIX System Administration, hardware troubleshooting, configuration, and performance monitoring and tuning
Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with different technology partners
Strong communication skills
Understanding of ITIL incident/change/problem management processes
Understand SAN/NAS technology and experience to support server-side related issues

Desired skills:

Experience supporting RedHat LEAPP in-place upgrades
Experience supporting a Large global environment of RedHat Enterprise Linux Servers
Understand and follow the ITIL incident/change/problem management process
Experience supporting LVM and Veritas Volume management
Experience supporting DMZ environment Linux servers
Experience in automation tools like BladeLogic, shell scripting or ansible tower, Tanium
RedHat Cluster Services Certification or relative clustering experience
Ability to work independently and partner with multiple teams where necessary
Experience with VMware ESX Resource Adjustments
