Mechanical Designer

Mechanical DesignerDesign large industrial equipment for power generation, petrochemical, and heavy industrial projects. Work on ducting, piping, structural steel, and pressure vessels from concept through fabrication.Requirements:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related fieldU.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency (Green Card) is Required.3+ years of mechanical design experience in heavy industrial, power generation, petrochemical, or process equipmentStrong AutoCAD and 3D CAD experience including Inventor, MicroStation, or similarExperience designing ducting, piping, structural steel, and pressure vesselsKnowledge of OSHA, AISC, ASME Section VIII, B31.1, and B31.3Familiarity with welding and fabrication practicesAble to interpret engineering specifications and produce fabrication drawingsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsResponsibilities:Produce detailed 2D and 3D fabrication and assembly drawingsDesign ducting, piping layouts, isometrics, supports, and structural componentsPrepare bills of material and drawing packagesReview fabrication and erection drawings for accuracy and constructabilityCoordinate with project managers, engineers, fabricators, vendors, and clientsIncorporate customer and internal revisions into final designsImprove manufacturability and fabrication efficiency through practical design solutionsTravel up to 10% for vendor visits, field support, and inspections Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
