Employment Type: Direct Hire
Pay Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Basic understanding of quality concepts, principles, and methodologies
• Proficiency in dimensional verification and measurement techniques
• Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation and technical drawings
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as FARO and Micro-Vu equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspecting materials and products
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings
• Ability to collect and analyze quality data, and develop improvements
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and email

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Knowledge of calibration procedures and ISO standards
• Programming experience for measurement equipment like FARO and Micro-Vu
• Background in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Certification as a Quality Technician

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting (1-3 years)

Other Requirements:

• This is an onsite position in Ossian, IN, working on second shift (Monday-Friday)
• Ability to stand, sit, lift up to 25 pounds, and use hands and fingers comfortably
• Willingness to work near moving mechanical parts and in environments with noise levels that may be moderate to loud
• Some travel or special certifications are not required but a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset are essential
