Utilize your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to provide both evaluation and treatment services throughout the school year. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, you'll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their fullest potential through individualized therapy interventions. This assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through May 2027, offering a chance to make a long-term impact.

What you’ll need:

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license (TX OT licensure required)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT roles preferred
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and age groups
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting student growth and participation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations for students referred for services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to meet student needs
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed
