Job Summary
Pediatric Nurse (PEDS) Pediatric Floor Massachusetts
This position encompasses delivering patient-centered nursing care in a Pediatric (PEDS) specialty setting within a healthcare facility. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for pediatric patients, ensuring adherence to safety and professional standards, and contributing to a supportive, efficient clinical environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must read, write and communicate in English; Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required; Successful passage of CCH Pharmacology exam; Recent Pediatric experience within 2 years in an acute care facility; Pediatric certification preferred.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Administers and monitors patient responses to all medications. Guides patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing within the realm of hospital policy. Properly utilizes the nursing process in caring for patients by maintaining relevant, accurate and current patient records. Provides documentation of assessment throughout hospital admission, including physical, psychological, social dimensions and discharge plans. Assesses personal learning needs and maintains documentation of ongoing professional development activities. Demonstrates proficiency in Computerized Nursing Informatics. Participates in quality monitoring and evaluation activities. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
