Job Details Job Location: Purchase Youth Village - Benton, KY 42025 Kitchen Staff Purchase Youth Village is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility in Benton, Kentucky that serves the needs of children and adolescents with psychiatric, behavioral, and substance abuse issues. Purchase Youth Village is seeking full-time and part-time Kitchen Workers who are compassionate and eager to serve the needs of children and adolescents undergoing psychiatric mental healthcare. Kitchen staff will prepare food and beverage items according to standardized recipes and established food preparation procedures, meeting all mandated nutritional and projected meal requirements. Major Duties and Responsibilities Serves food in compliance with health standards. Cleans utensils, equipment, storage, and food preparation areas to maintain required sanitary conditions. Evaluates prepared food for flavor, appearance, and temperature, providing food selections accepted by residents and staff. Inspects food items and supplies to verify quantity, quality, and specifications of orders, and to comply with mandated health standards. Monitors kitchen for compliance with health and safety standards. Reports deficiencies immediately to supervisor. Reports needed supplies and equipment issues immediately to supervisor. Receives items and stocks shelves when food and supply deliveries are made. Employment Types Full-time, Part-time, PRN, all shifts, and weekends available.
