Transportation SupervisorCHENEGA BASE & LOGISTICS SERVICES LLCFt Rucker ALThe Transportation Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the transportation effort.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the establishment, operation, performance, and management of the Travel and Freight Offices.Conduct meetingsEvaluate plansPrepare reports, plans, and working instructionsPlan and direct personnel and required resources for day-to-day mission support.Provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum four (4) years supervisory experience and related work experience.Successfully pass background and drug screeningPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in ManagementKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookKnowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in assigned area of responsibility.Knowledge of all installed product software at the use/operator level and automated data processing policies and procedures as they pertain to assigned equipment, both STAMIS and Installation desktop computer which will allow the contractor to solve and/or contact appropriate technical support to resolve any problem associated with these systems.Skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.Ability to proficiently utilize Electronic Transportation Operational Personal Property Standardized System, and the Defense Personal Property System.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
