Operations Manager (Process & Systems)

The Role We are hiring a highly driven, hands-on Operations Manager to own and optimize the order lifecycle for WorldCopperSmith.com—from production approval through delivery and post-sale support. This role sits at the center of the business, ensuring orders move efficiently, issues are resolved quickly, and systems continuously improve. You will partner across customer experience, logistics, sales, and production to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer journey. This is not a coordination role—you are expected to take ownership, drive outcomes, and improve how the business operates through better systems, processes, and use of technology. Key Responsibilities Own the full order lifecycle from production approval through delivery and post-sale resolution Leadership across internal teams (customer experience, logistics, production, sales) to ensure smooth execution Manage and monitor domestic and international shipments, including freight and LTL Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, delays, and customer-impacting problems Handle escalations including returns, damage claims, and delivery issues Build, improve, and standardize operational processes and workflows Leverage systems, tools, and AI where appropriate to improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability Conduct post-mortems on operational issues and implement process improvements Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience throughout the delivery lifecycle What You Bring 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or order management (eCommerce or similar environment preferred) Strong business and financial acumen—you understand cost, margin, and operational trade-offs Proven ability to manage complex logistics, including freight coordination and carrier management Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple orders, timelines, and priorities simultaneously Strong problem-solving ability and comfort handling escalations and ambiguity Experience building or improving systems, workflows, and operational processes Strong technical aptitude—comfortable using systems and leveraging technology (including AI) to improve operations Self-starter with a high level of ownership—you take initiative and drive results without constant direction High energy, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Performance-based bonus 401(k) with 4% company match Competitive benefits package Paid Time Off (PTO) Why Join CopperSmith?
