As a pharmacist, you will work closely with management and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience. What You’ll Do Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns; show empathy in sensitive situations; strive to exceed expectations, provide alternative solutions to problems, and achieve the best possible outcome for customers Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying information to customers for success and confidence with at-home use of medication Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, seek continuous improvement opportunities, identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate Support and stay current on company wellness initiatives; ensure consistency and execution and share best practices Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business Requirements Pharmacist State License - APhA American Pharmacists Association Certified Pharmacist Immunizer - AphA American Pharmacists Association Required Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) At Wegmans, we’ve always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
